6.7.2 Lock/Format

You can control the percentage of the HDD space reserved for Locked Event Recordings. You

can also format the hard disk if necessary.

Maximum Lock (%): Sets the maximum percentage of the HDD space reserved for Locked

Event Recordings. To set up the Locked Event Recordings, please select the Auto Lock item in

5.3.2 Event Search, 6.2.2 Motion or 6.4.1 Alarm.

Current Lock (%): Displays the current percentage of the locked event recordings in the HDD.

If the amount of locked event recordings has reached the maximum lock percentage, the DVR

will be unable to lock new event recordings.

Unlock All: Click this button to unlock the locked part of hard disk.

Delete All: Click this button to delete all the unlocked data in the hard disk. WARNING: This

will effectively ERASE the hard disk’s contents, except for the locked portion.

Format Disk: Click this button to format the whole HDD. WARNING: This will effectively ERASE

the ENTIRE hard disk!!
