7.2 Browser Security Setting

7.2.1 Installing ActiveX Controls

Follow the steps below to install the ActiveX Controls when you first connect to the DVR’s IP

address. If you do not see a yellow bar like the one the arrow is pointing at in the image

below, your security settings may be too high. If so, go to “Section 7.2.2 Enabling ActiveX

Controls.”

1. When you first connect to the DVR’s IP address, a yellow bar like the one the arrow is

pointing at should appears.

2. Right-click on the yellow bar and select “Install This Add-on…”.

3. Install the ePlusDVR.cab file when prompted to do so.
